16th February 2016From 1 April 2016 all employers must pay all its employees aged 25 and over the national living wage (NLW) rate. This is currently set at £7.20 per hour, with the intention of this rising to a minimum of £9.00 per hour in 2020.
The NLW in effectively another level to the National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate that applies to all workers aged 21 and over.
Current NMW as at October 2015:-
